I just finished listening to the netcast, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! As a long-time ARGer, but one who doesn't play a lot of new games, I appreciated hearing about the current ARG "Hot List."

I also want to give kudos to Jon, Sean, and Brooke (and of course the rest of the ARGN staff!) for all of their work in the world of alternate reality gaming. From ARGN to Unfiction to the UnForums to the podcast, I really appreciate the time and effort in creating and maintaining this community.

Thanks!
Lou

With regards to content: great work! I'm only about half-way through right now, but really like the topics and conversation so far.

Can I make a technical suggestion? I listen to a lot of podcasts and love the content of this one, but the production value (compared to the others I'm subscribed to) is close to unlistenable. That's not to say that I won't listen, but the Skype audio artifacts are pretty distracting. It takes a lot of effort for me to listen, meaning I can't really listen at work like I do with the rest.

You might look into how to record a "double-ender," for example, about half-way down the page here: http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.asp?p=603923&seqNum=2&rl=1 . Specifically, each person participating in the conversation records just their end in a decent quality. The recordings are then collected by someone and overlaid atop each other, effectively giving a high-quality multi-track recording of the whole thing, bypassing the Skype audio issues.

So that's my technical gripe. Overall, I love the direction this is going and can't wait for more.
