There is a lot of laughter in Episode 19 of our little ‘ol netcast series. Responsible for the giggles (as well as a lot of great ARG information) are regular panelists Brooke Thompson of Giant Mice, Nicko Demeter of ARGNet and Sean C. Stacey of Unfiction.com. So, Perplex City Stories did launch today after all…
- Well, maybe there was a Perplex City Stories launch, and maybe there wasn’t. Okay, there wasn’t, as it has been pushed back to June, according to the Perplex City developer’s blog. While we were scheduled to have Mind Candy Director of Play Adrian Hon in for a chat, he was unable to attend, so we made a bunch of stuff up and called it an April Fool’s Day joke. Surprise! Also, read Michael Andersen’s article at ARGNet for more information.
- Monster Hunter Club ended successfully last week, and the post-game PM chat has already occured. 13 Crystal Skulls (aka Doom Skull) has also wrapped up, and a PM chat is scheduled for April 15th. See Michael Andersen’s article (that guy is super busy!) at ARGNe for the details.
Topic Discussion
- Brooke Thompson weighs in on GDC, SXSW, ARGFest, and the meaning of life. We sit and listen like eager schoolchildren.
Listener Mail and Voicemail
- Our buddy Sveinbjörn J. Tryggvason wants to know where we get the intro and outro music for the netcasts. Larry Eisner, former staff writer at ARGNet, is responsible for the original compositions.
Some sad news
- Captain America… is dead. Comic book fans across the world weep openly.
See you next week!
