[...] MeiGeist Alternative Reality Game, which came out of the Watershed/HP Labs artist placement scheme last year, was named as the most outstanding ARG of 2007 by players and critics. It triumphed ahead of World Without Oil, The Lost Experience and Year Zero, huge Alternative Reality Games with million dollar budgets. US-based ARG producers commented “MeiGeist was pretty amazing” (Marie Lamb of World Without Oil”, “MeiGeist came out of nowhere. It was so well done, definitely a nice surprise for the year.” (Brooke Thompson). Congratulations Hazel and Jon of Licorice Film, who created it.
Classic ARGs in 2007: My Geist, Sammeeeees2 and NyTakma
All completed and enjoyed by the players. None were marketing, viral, timewasters or simple puzzle trails. Just ARG in what I feel is the "pure" form.

Hey, we haven't bashed in a long time, so ease up, Debbie Downer. As for blackballing, it's hard to follow every game from beginning to end, and none of the panelists played these games, I guess. Thanks for giving us the benefit of the doubt, "Manny".

What?! No mention of Deus City / Tcotsa? if for no other reason than to bash it as usual? Let the blackballing stop!
